Capitalizing on your first meeting with a prospect is absolutely critical – be it in-person or remote. There is one chance for a first impression and to create a sense of urgency for your offering. Often, media sales leads stall in the pipeline, as the prospect’s most pressing needs have not been effectively addressed.
In this session, you’ll learn how apply a new framework by which you can more consistently convert first prospect meetings. You’ll learn how to hook each prospect by:
– Demonstrating your knowledge of their business and target audience
– Getting them to open up about their business and marketing needs
– Outlining how your media offering is the answer to those needs
– Accelerating your ability to build personal rapport
We’ll also address the critical challenge of dealing with gatekeepers with clients and agencies.
Ultimately, the goal is to compel the prospect to request a formal proposal – with a sense of urgency, thereby shortening your sales cycle.
